This list shows the positions of the senators relative to healthcare. The indication “supports NCL” means that the senator supports taxpayer funding and support for the “Non Contributing Layer” ie. support for the layer that contributes nothing to the delivery of healthcare which consists mainly of insurance companies. (See front of this web site for a better definition)
The indication “supports SPS” means supports a “Single Payer System” or wants to save tax payers money, streamline the system and cover everyone.
It is obvious from this summary that the majority of our senators support the insurance companies (Non Contributing Layer) far more than they care for the welfare of the citizens, regardless of what they say.
There are 2- asterisks ** next to 14 names. These senators are participants in the Healthy Americans Act**.
This act is specifically designed to support the insurance industry. In other words, the senators on this bandwagon want to take money from you the wage earner and fatten up the coffers of the insurance companies. This is the most counter productive legislation anyone could dream up. The logic is explained in front of this web site.

It’s clear from this tabulation as to why the approval numbers of the congress are lower than those of GW Bush. The senators simply do not have their act together and do not care for the well being of their constituents and place the welfare and profits of the insurance industry (Non Contributing Layer) ahead of the wage earner.
Never mind what they say. It is all empty political rhetoric.
